Self-doubt attack
Sounds familiar? I can attest that I have experienced this millions of times… in the same day. The worst part? If it becomes a habit, you barely forget there are any other ways to think. However, one day I saw the following advice and I immediately felt a relief. So here it goes: if you find yourself in a habitual circle of self-doubting thoughts, ask yourself these 3 questions:
- Is this based on facts or just my feelings?
- Would I say this to a friend?
- Is this thought helping me or holding me back?
Remember: you can never control what thought pops up in your head, BUT you totally have the power to decide what you do with it further. This is useful to remember at any age in your life and it is also a great advice for children.
