Reverse Gratitude
Finding it hard to think of something you are grateful for?
Try reverse gratitude – imagine you lose something you value very much (like your bed, your house, your morning coffee, the forest near your house, which you take for granted or even a person you love). Close your eyes for a moment and then try to see how that feels. Then open your eyes and come back to the reality of having them back to yourself. How do you feel now? I’m guessing a bit more grateful.
That is how reverse gratitude works.
